Quick answers

Where do I find everything?

Home: switch child profiles, see time left and start meal reminders. Search: find videos. Settings: photos, appearance and grown-up account. Grown-up Guard: profiles, PIN, age limits, watch time and voice recordings.

How do I use another device?

Sign in with the same grown-up account while online. The app checks for saved changes about every 20 seconds and when you return to it. Allow time for uploads before checking your other device; offline changes need an internet connection.

How do I install WatchNook?

On iPhone or iPad, open the shared app link in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome and choose Install app or Add to Home screen from the menu. Menu labels vary by device.

Why can’t my child watch?

Check that a grown-up is signed in, a child is selected, YouTube is enabled in Settings → Streaming accounts and allowed in Grown-up Guard, and daily watch time remains. The Streaming accounts name is an app setting, not a connection to your personal YouTube library.

Do limits work outside WatchNook?

Watch time and meal reminders apply to videos playing inside WatchNook. Opening YouTube directly or using another app is outside these controls. Use your device’s parental controls too.
