Who we are

WatchNook by Dads Bots is a family app that lets grown-ups set rules for how children watch YouTube videos. WatchNook is a Dads Bots production, made by Steven Gooljar.

What we collect

Grown-up account: email address or Google sign-in name, used only to sign in and keep your family settings in sync.

Child profiles: a first name or nickname, age, avatar or photo you choose, time limits and watch minutes. Use a nickname if you prefer.

Voice recordings you make for meal reminders, stored with your family settings.

What we never do

We do not sell or share family or child information.

We do not track children across apps or websites, and we do not show personalised advertising.

We do not ask children for any personal information.

YouTube

Videos are played through YouTube's official player and are covered by YouTube's own Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube's restricted mode helps but cannot guarantee every video is suitable — please preview content.

Your choices

You can edit or delete any child profile at any time in Grown-up Guard. To delete your whole account and all its data, contact us and we will remove it.

Terms of use

WatchNook by Dads Bots is provided for personal family use. Grown-ups are responsible for supervising children and choosing suitable settings.

The app is provided as-is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free.
